Mark Daigneault, Head Coach of Oklahoma City, is one of the youngest coaches in the NBA.

We’ve taken a look at the oldest coaches in the NBA. Now, let’s take a look at the youngest coaches in the NBA.

Here are the top 5 youngest NBA coaches during the 2022-2023 season.

  1. Will Hardy, Utah Jazz – 34 years old
Hardy is in his first year as the Jazz head man after a few seasons as an NBA assistant, most recently with the Boston Celtics.
  2. Joe Mazzulla, Boston Celtics – 34 years old
His opportunity to lead the Celtics came following the suspension of Ime Udoka. Mazzulla leads this team as one of the best in the NBA.
  3. Mark Daigneault, Oklahoma City Thunder – 37 years old
In his third season with OKC, he has his best team this season, but will need to make a run to find their way into the playoffs for the first time.
  4. Taylor Jenkins, Memphis Grizzlies – 38 years old
Despite being one of the youngest coaches in the NBA, Jenkins has proved to be one of the best. Memphis has gotten better each year under his leadership.
  5. Willie Green, New Orleans Pelicans – 41 years old
Green has had a respectable start to his NBA head coaching career. Unfortunately, there’s not much he can do to keep Zion Williamson on the floor.
